A teacher with extra-professional life experience is hard to find. Nonetheless, the majority of teachers working in Swiss schools enter straight into work life after completing their tertiary education and thus have little, if any, carerer experience. In order to act competently as private teachers, these people often lack the crucial professional experience.
As a private teacher, I draw from a rich and varied biography. With sufficient professional experience and a proactive approach to the challenges in the private sector, I developed my skills, especially in positions in which HR specialists faced a situation not to achieve the desired results with conventional job applicant profiles.

It is not easy to tackle new things - and it is also not convenient. But the gain of a rich biography is that you learn to adapt quickly, precisely and efficiently to new requirements and circumstances. A good private teacher knows how to build relationship with a variety of personality types and develops a sensorium for the requirements in a particular situation.
Such qualities are of central importance for activities in the world of work, given the constantly changing professional, technological and social conditions. As a private teacher, I have specialized in numerous professional tasks with children and adolescents from 12 to 18 years of age, in addition to conventional specialist knowledge, I also help developing fundamental action- and soft skills.

What drives me to work with children and teenagers
My motivation is based on the assumption that all people are much more capable of learning when you, as a teacher, communicate with them empathically and at eye level. As an experienced private teacher, I see myself at the side of your child as a companion who uses the child's joy in learning and an adolescent's desire for discovery in order to activate natural abilities to understand the world and its interconnections.
